An educational game developed with Academia Sinica that turns whack-a-mole into mosquito-swatting, delivered as a LINE mini game.
Challenge & goals
- Teach students how to respond to common mosquitoes in Taiwan, and keep the learning fun rather than dry.
Our approach
- Whack-a-mole gameplay becomes a mosquito-swatting challenge.
- Students learn through mosquito-prevention items and fast-paced play.
- Random mosquito facts appear in each transition animation, reinforcing the edutainment aspect.
Outcome & milestones
- Live as a LINE mini game: add the official LINE account as a friend to play.
- An English-language version was later added, letting the content reach a wider audience.
